LPCCD leverages the intersection of Arts and Culture to deepen connections...

…Heal trauma, build resiliency, and increase social cohesions.  The seven-acre park serves as a backdrop for bringing people together using the arts, entertainment, and programming as a connector.

Lincoln Park is a thriving creative corridor that is a destination for arts and entertainment programming. Annually, LPPCD hosts a music festival that provides a venue for national and local artists. It has also delivered lectures and workshops on arts and culture.

LPCCD’s community development projects have transformed vacant lots and abandoned buildings and into housing, pubic art, and other amenities. Our urban farm has blossomed into a resident-led  community garden that provides shares to community residents.

Collaborations with a broad range of foundations, corporations, the City of Newark, and others, have allowed LPCCD to reclaim this historic area and create a safe and creative enclave for both residents and visitors.
